Newman Catholic College has achieved its highest ever GCSE results with a 14% increase in the number of students attaining 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths.

 

Head teacher Mr.Danny Coyle stated that " We are immensely proud of all our students this year. Their hard work has paid off. In addition it is important to thank our wonderful teachers whose endeavour ,commitment and skill have contributed to NCC achieving a pass rate of 56% and a P8 score of  1.04 When you consider that we were at 33% in 2012 it is clear evidence of a school on the up. We look  forward to the future with great anticipation. "
