Sixth Form Curriculum
The Sixth Form curriculum is specifically tailored to meet
the needs of our learners. A mixture of qualifications are offered that are both academic and vocational. Students can study the following:
Advanced Level Pathway (A-levels)
- Computer Science
NB: All entrants must have six, 4-9 grades at GCSE (including English and Maths).
Vocational Pathway (BTEC Level 3 Extended)
- Physical Education
- Performing Arts
- Applied Science
- Business
- Art
NB: All entrants must have five, 4-9 grades at GCSE (including English and Maths).
STEPS Pathway (Intermediate)
- GCSE English
- GCSE Maths
in combination with at least two of the following subjects
- GCSE Art
- BTEC Business
- BTEC ICT
- BTEC Performing Arts
- BTEC Sport
NB: Entrants on to this qualification will have previous experience undertaking GCSE qualifications, but have not yet satisfied the entry requirements for advanced or vocational level study.
BTEC Vocational Studies (Foundation)
- Functional Skills English
- GCSE Maths
in combination with at least two of the following subjects
- ICT
- Travel and Tourism
- Business
- Sport
- Vocational Skills
NB: This is a two year qualification, for students who have not attained or previously studied GCSE's. This qualification in the second year will lead onto GCSE level study.
