Dear Parents/Carers,

As you are aware, we previously used SIMS for communicating with parents. As of September 2024, we are launching our new parent app called My Child At School (MCAS). This app is our preferred method of communication with you using app notifications, so please ensure you have set up your account. Please use the documentation found below for a full introduction to MCAS and instructions on how to set up your account.

What is MCAS?

MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) is a portal that can enable parents to view their child's academic performance in real-time via a web browser or mobile app. This facility allows exclusive access to key academic dates, attendance information, timetables and the personal details the school holds for you and your child. We will still be using Parent Pay.

• Reports
• Assessment

Downloading the app and logging in.

The app is simple to download and access using the email address that you have supplied to Newman Catholic College, which must be up-to-date and already given to the school. Please use the steps shown on the following pages to do this. The app is available through the Google Store or Apple Store, just search for My Child At School app by Bromcom Computers Plc. MCAS is also available online HERE
