Head teacher's statement on admissions
Please find enclosed/attached the following information on the admissions process.
- The school admissions policy for the 2022/23 period.
- The Supplementary Information Form. (SIF)
- The Diocesan Priest's Reference Form. (PRF)
Please note that the completion of the SIF is not compulsory but does help the school and diocese in the admissions arrangements for your child. If you do not complete the SIF you can only be placed in the bottom category.
Equally, the PRF ensures that practising Catholic children are given priority.
Finally, I would like to emphasise that Newman Catholic College is immensely proud of its role in promoting an ethos of tolerance and love amongst a multi faith school community.
We operate an online data collection/application system for our in-year admissions. Please click here and complete all fields as required. Once you have logged in, this website is fully translatable to all languages using the Google Translate button on the top right-hand side of the homepage.
After you have completed the form we will potentially arrange an interview for you and your child. Please find attached details of our school uniform suppliers. You may need to purchase a school blazer for your child. We do not recommend purchasing any school uniform until after your child's interview. Other items such as school ties and PE kits can be purchased directly from us.
Also, have you applied for your child's Zip card? This enables free travel on buses for children 11–15 years old. Click here to do so.
